2. Except the P-10 and P-20 signs referred to in sections 7 and 8, the requirement is indicated by the white colour of the sign and by the mandatory or interdictory symbols described in sections 5 and 6.

However, certain regulatory signs have a black back-ground; they indicate one-ways and the various directions of the traffic lanes to be used.

Some regulatory messages, which are usually indicated on signs having a white background, may, for technological reasons, be indicated on a dark background.
